The Youth Empowerment Hub is co-owned with a like minded organization (Nascent Prospects) and is an online platform geared towards creating a movement of technology-enabled rural youth into a safe space to discuss topics that affect their daily lives ranging from:

Digital technologies continue to evolve; the internet has provided adolescents with numerous benefits, including increased social support, academic enrichment and worldwide cross-cultural interaction. But the rural youth has been left behind.
Besides education and knowledge, we embed mentorship, leadership and intergenerational learnings towards enhancing wholesome growth for the youth. The platform is at its early stages and has a membership of over 150 youth.
Climate change threatens our existence. Our climate action surrounds educating the youth and the larger rural community on impacts of climate change as we advocate for a more sustainable future for all.
We employ the use of youth climate champions / change makers who discuss issues such as cutting down trees for farmland and industries, burning down of forests and trees, how climate change affects food security and heightens competition for scarce resources etc and how these actions affect our carbon reservoirs.
The youth champions highlight the importance of going green ( they explore using various every day methods to reduce the harm that our daily living does to the environment) and spearhead avid tree planting among youth and women groups.
Additionally, the youth change makers address how women and girls participation and leadership make climate action more effective and strengthen the community’s collective ability to tackle the climate crisis.
Our Mission
Our mission is to empower grassroots women and youth to collectively engage the public and political spheres, starting with women’s practical economic needs and social norms at the village level, and building up to national agendas.
